As a law enforcement professional with over 25 years of dedicated service to law enforcement, I have built my career on leadership, mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to community. My journey in policing has been defined by connecting officers to purpose, youth to opportunity, and the community to trust.

Throughout my career, I have served in multiple capacities, including patrol, gang investigations, child crimes, canine operations, and field training. Each assignment has deepened my understanding that policing extends far beyond enforcement. It is rooted in engagement, compassion, and the development of the next generation of public servants.

As both a Field Training Officer and Youth Engagement Officer, I have had the privilege of guiding recruits and mentoring young community members, instilling the core values of integrity, accountability, and service.

My experience as a member of the recruiting, mentorship and field training team inspired the creation of The 10-8 Academy, a mentorship and training platform designed to prepare aspiring officers for the challenges and rewards of a career in law enforcement. Through professional development and pre-academy workshops, interview preparation, and leadership development, The 10-8 Academy develops the skills and mindset needed to turn goals into success.

Beyond the badge, I remain a lifelong learner and leader. Having earned my master's in organizational leadership, I continue to focus on empowering others through empathy, education, and example. My purpose remains clear: to elevate those around me, whether they are recruits entering the academy, officers in the field, or youth seeking direction.
